Angelina Jolie’s Cut-Out Dress Will Make You Do a Double Take

We’re all familiar with Angelina Jolie’s wardrobe by now. While her red-carpet appearances often exude an air of Old Hollywood glamour, her everyday outfits revolve around ladylike silhouettes and a muted palette. But this week, the actor has demonstrated a willingness to add a touch of the unexpected to her daytime wardrobe.

During a New York City outing, at first glance the actor, filmmaker, and designer appeared to be doing her usual chic minimalism in a black knitted dress – but closer inspection revealed a provocative twist. In addition to billowing capped sleeves, Jolie’s maxi featured daring side cut-outs that exposed a glimpse of skin. Angelina’s finishing touches included a casually draped wool jacket over her arm, a leather Saint Laurent clutch (her go-to accessory), square-frame shades and suede stilettos.
